A Wonderful Christmas Festival
Martina and Nikki had a great day, busy selling our cards, brooches, mugs, notebooks, tea towels, wrapping paper and silk screen prints at the Godalming Christmas festival.
It is always nice to meet our customers, new and familiar faces. Some also got to see Peppa Pig at the Pepperpot as she turned on the Christmas lights of glittering icicles which illuminated the whole Town. If you mist us visit our online shop here.

Getting Ready for Christmas.
It's a busy time in the Arthouse, with non stop printing, getting our cards and goods out for Christmas.
This year our Christmas cards are screen printed by hand in black and then hand drawn details are added in gold.

We are on the front page of Surrey Advertiser.
Highlighted text: The team at the Arthouse Meath were entered for a group award, and were praised for their efforts in turning an on-site activity into a successful project that has received acclaim from across the country, including from BBC presenter Mary Portas, who works as a retail consultant.
Meath residents with a range of complex disabilities work alongside professional artists to create humorous and unique items, from greetings cards to gifts, and gives them a creative outlet.
"The opportunities and experience they get from creating art gives them a real pride," said Mike (Keigley, chief executive of the Meath). "They have exhibitions and shows, and it gives them the chance to experience important roles within a business as a result of the professional activity."

Godalming: Drawing In Our Town!
Work in Progress.....
Can you find these familiar buildings?
In the beginning.....
We worked around the edge
and in our sketch books
Roughly 70% is drawn free hand directly onto the picture.
The other 30% has been drawn in a sketch book and is then transferred.
This enables us to play with the composition, to get it just right.
What about the centre?
We thought about a lake, but somebody pointed out that it could look like a giant eye. Then we considered the band stand. Finally we decided to have a band playing with dancers.
Celebrating both the town- and our hard work!!
Well done to both Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon groups for all their hard work.
It's all drawn, we just need to fill in the details and block parts out to get a bit of depth.
We hope to finish it before Christmas.
